The Pieborgs are the three-body problem that came to life. A rare triple threat, they are equal parts cyborg, octopus, and Pie. The Pieborgs have the strength of a robot, the intelligence of an octopus, and the tastiness of a delicious Pie. They share their lands with the Doughbots, a Slice that the Pieborgs use to do their bidding. The Pieborgs are known for building sophisticated machinery and advanced tools unrivaled in Pieland.

Unlike the Doughbots, Pieborgs have both pie-based and android features. This Slice almost always can be identified by having one good Octopie eye and one bionic eye. Sometimes they will have a few augmented tentacles, a metallic faceplate, or a domed glass top exposing their brain. Pieborgs are accompanied by a range of their inventions and equipment.

Pieborgs believe their augmentations are the next step in evolution for all Octopies. They consider other Slices that lack AI or advanced enhancements inferior. Pieborgs have great respect for the Expieriments and great disdain for the more organic Pielanders.

The Veteran

The Veteran was the first Pieborg, created out of necessity to replace missing limbs and heal from battle wounds. The Mechanic, a fellow Pieborg, made these amputations and "upgrades" under pressure to save The Veterans life. Now, learnings from this are used to bake up all of the Pieborg Slice. Often mistaken for a cold hearted character, The Veteran cares deeply about protecting the rest of the Pieborgs, willing to lay their life down to protect the Pieborg Slice.

The Mechanic

The Mechanic is an extremely inventive and intelligent Octopie, often known as the first engineer to bake up a Pieborg. This came from desperation to save The Veterans life, resulting in the first mechanical augmentation to an Octopie, something now common place for the Pieborgs. It's well known that the Mechanic requested their own augmentations simply to make themself better at Piegineering.
