# Pielanders

The Pielanders Slice actually spend most of their time on the coast, not inland. Sailing and fishing along the seas of Pieland, they are a relatively harmonious Slice. They share their lands with the Piesces and Pierates.

The Pielanders enjoy the company of the Piesons Slice. But the Pielanders’ peaceful nature quickly shifts if another Slice disrupts them. They are often an easy target for the Pierates, who regularly demand tribute in exchange for protection. Pielanders have little patience for Octopies that do not enjoy a good fish, straight from the sea. For these reasons, they are not fans of Doughbots and Zompies.

Next time you’re relaxing on the beaches of Pieland and wonder what that fishy smell is, there’s a good chance a Pielander is nearby.
