The Piesces are the most mystical and buoyant Slice in Pieland. It may have something to do with the fact they were originally baked on or around Pi Day. The astrological sign of a Piesces has a lot to do with their affinity for the waters rather than the crusty inlands of Pieland. Land-dwelling Octopies avoid traveling the seas due to the rumors of the perilous Piesces. But these tall tales are at odds with the Piesces who are regularly seen playing on the beaches or surfing the waves.

The Piesces all have dorsal and pectoral fins. Some have extra features like a tail or claws to provide more agility and speed in the ocean. An outgoing, laid-back faction, the Piesces enjoy wearing tropical shell necklaces or hanging ten with their surfboards. They have many fun sidekicks, including a mini sea serpent, turtles, and seagulls.

Despite their playful and sociable demeanor, Piesces are often discriminated against due to their unusual appearance. The Piesces are unfairly pitted as the sea monster version of the Pieborgs and Expieriments. For this reason, the Piesces despise the machine-enhanced Slices.

The Piesieden is the political leader of the Piesces. The Piesieden is one of the few Octopies in all of Pieland to have ever met The Deep One. Being able to travel to the darkest depths of the ocean and return is part of what earnt this Octopie a claim to the throne. That, along with their sheer power and strength. This is why the Piesieden is very respected and admired by the rest of the Piesces.
